Don’t Let Christmas Pass You By, the 2022 edition of the Benjamin House Holiday Benefit will return live for the first time since 2019 with Broadway stars Karen Akers (Grand Hotel, Nine), Amy Spanger (Wedding Singer, Rock of Ages, Tick Tick Boom), Marta Sanders (Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) and Melanie Vaughan(Parade, Sunday in the Park with George), who will be joined by the amazing vocal quintet Marquee Five, along with pop baritone Billy Shaw, Hanson Award Winner Aaron Lee Battle, and Broadway World Cabaret nominee Robin Westle, along with special surprise guests TBA. Hosted by MAC Award winning cabaret artist and Broadway actor Eric Michael Gillett (Sweet Smell of Success, The Frogs, Kiss Me Kate), the evening celebrates Benjamin House, a home for mentally challenged adults in Elizabeth City NC.

Benjamin House was the inspiration of Lennie and Ann Hughes, dedicated to their son Benjamin, and created to provide a loving, stable and productive home environment for its residents, as well as support for the greater community through their outreach program. Many of the artists appearing on December 12th have appeared in past benefits both in NYC and in Elizabeth City. It’s an evening filled with the holiday spirit and made up of songs of the season, of gratitude, of family, of hope and of inspiration.

This will mark he first time the event has been performed at NYC’s hottest new venue, Chelsea Table and Stage, and the evening will also be live-streamed for the benefit of those who cannot attend in person. Learn more about Benjamin House at BenjaminHouse.org
